I recently had a fantastic business trip to a holiday lodge in a peaceful rural location. the lodge itself was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed, including a nice bottle of wine and fresh flowers. the hosts were friendly and available when needed. the location was lovely, with easy access to attractions like Exmouth and Topsham. I particularly enjoyed visiting the Tiverton museum and taking a horse-drawn canal ride. it was a great base for my trip, and I hope to return in the future.
The road to the lodge had some potholes and speed humps, which required careful driving.

The kids absolutely loved the garden and had a blast playing on the swings and running around. The lodge itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was peaceful, allowing us to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We also appreciated the warm welcome from the hosts who made us feel at home. Our visit to Sandy Park Rugby Stadium was a highlight of the trip, and being only 35 km away, it was a convenient and exciting day out for the whole family.
My wife says that it would have been even better if there had been a high chair provided for our youngest child.

During my recent transit through Dunkeswell, I stayed at Hooked Rise Holiday Lodge and found it to be conveniently located near the nearest airport, just 29 km away. This was ideal for me as I was looking for a place to rest and relax before continuing my journey. The lodge itself was comfortable and provided all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay.
There were a few minor issues during my stay. the road leading to the lodge was full of potholes, which made it challenging to navigate and avoid them.

I keep coming back because it's the perfect place for a romantic escape. Staff found my lost ID card during my first stay. It has Wi-Fi, free parking, allows pets, and is a non-smoking place. All I need!

The location of the property was perfect for us, as we wanted to explore both Sandy Park Rugby Stadium and Golden Cap. It felt like we were right in the middle of all the action! The free WiFi throughout the property was a great addition, as it allowed us to stay connected and share our holiday moments with friends and family.
Mattresses on the kids' bed were a little thin, but it gave my partner and I an opportunity to relive our dating days by snuggling in a single bed. Maybe next time we'll request a double bed!

We had an amazing weekend of skydiving with my 21-year old twins at Hooked Rise Holiday Lodge. The location was perfect for this activity, as the aerodrome was right next to the lodge. The hosts, Sue and Barry, were lovely and made us feel right at home. They even allowed us to leave our chilled items in the fridge on the day of check-out, which was a great extra service. The lodge itself was clean and tidy, and the surroundings were very quiet at night. We enjoyed chilled evenings watching TV with the family and the WiFi was reliable. The addition of a mattress topper on the kids' beds would have made them more comfortable, and it would have been nice to have a double bed or the option to push the beds together. We mentioned to the hosts about having softer lights in the lounge, and they explained that they had switched them due to previous complaints about it being too dark. Maybe a dimmable side light would be a good solution. Although there was no local pub within walking distance, it gave us more time to relax together. I would highly recommend Hooked Rise Holiday Lodge as a great place to stay for a skydiving adventure or a peaceful getaway.

Had an amazing Easter weekend with my family at a holiday lodge near an aerodrome. The hosts were friendly and allowed us to store our chilled items in their fridge. The location was quiet and secluded, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The lodge was clean and comfortable, with reliable WiFi and freeview TV for chilled evenings. We also appreciated the recycling bins on site.
The road leading to the lodge was full of potholes, so be prepared for a bumpy ride. We were disappointed to find that the lodge overlooked a caravan and several vehicles, rather than the expected countryside view.
